Book your save-the-dates as soon as you can. You'll need date, time, location and a wedding website link as well as a photo if you'd like to include.
-
Save-the-dates should be in the mail 8-12 months prior to your wedding, depending on factors such as length of your engagement, destination wedding, and guest count.
-
Formal suites should be approved for production ~6 months prior to your wedding date. This allows time for them to be assembled and ready for mailing with healthy lead time.
-
Formal suites should be mailed at around 10-12 weeks out from your big day. This allows for mail lag time and gives your guests appropriate time to respond before your RSVPs are due. If you work with me, I will mail them for you!
-
Typically we will have everything printed and ready about 1-2 months prior to the wedding date. If you choose this option, we will work it into your timeline.
-
One invitation per household. Remember, many of your guests will be couples and families that reside at one residence.
A good rule of thumb is 60-65% of your total guest count. So if you invite 200 people, you will need ~130 physical invitations.
-
Save-the-dates: One 4x6 or 5x7 card (often printed front and back) and an envelope.
Formal invitation suites: Typically 3-5 pieces are included (Invitation, Detail Card, RSVP Card, Return Envelope, Envelope)
-
I will handle all postage for you including purchasing of stamps, assembly of invitations, and drop-off at USPS.
